Welcome Center

The Welcome Center is communication central for visitors and the congregational community at John Knox Presbyterian Church. Designed to blend with the flow of the busy Atrium the counters provide an entry point for visitors and a central location for current church information.  On Sunday mornings the Welcome Center becomes an extension of the church office.  Responsive attendants also give campus directions; provide contacts for ministries and mission of the church and news about upcoming events.  Self-serve brochures offer more details.

The Welcome Center takes on a variety of roles for special events.  For Vacation Bible School the center will be decorated to enhance the VBS theme. For memorial services the counters display precious photographs and offer baskets to collect cards. During the annual Community Preschool Faire the Welcome Center becomes a boutique for original photography, works of art and one-of-a- kind baubles and beads while attendants greet visitors and answer questions.

The Welcome Center team regularly offers for sale a small selection of books and CDs to enhance the Christian journey.
