John Knox VBS 2012   July 30—August 3    3:00-6:00PM  Includes Dinner Monday-Thursday

In this action-packed adventure, your kids will swim with humpback whales and seahorses, scuba through a vibrant coral reef, and take a personal submarine to the ocean floor, where eels and octopi play. Through interactive lessons that are easy for kids to apply to their lives today, they will “go deep” into God’s Word, exploring Bible stories of people who revealed deep faith.

“Feed the hungry, stand beside the broken” at Transform Burien

 On the third Sunday of each month various groups from John Knox Church answer Jesus’ mandate to “look after the widows, orphans and strangers in our midst” by serving the afternoon meal at Transform Burien.   We need folks to help cook, dish up, serve as table hosts or volunteer to help in the Clothes Closet and Food Bank.  For more information or to sign up, stop by the Welcome Center or contact Pat Kelley.
