Come & See is an invitation to reflect on the biblical story of Christmas to Epiphany through daily devotional readings. All are invited to read along. Space is provided to add your own thoughts, questions, or drawings. Ushers will be handing out the devotional after the service on Sunday and on Christmas Eve. One per family, please.

HIGH SCHOOL CONFIRMATION CLASS
BEGINS SUNDAY, JANUARY 20, 2019
Confirmation Class is a time for youth to confirm their baptism and solidify their faith. It is a time to prepare them for college or for careers after High School. On January 20, JKPC will begin a Confirmation Class for High Schools students. The class is open to all students no matter where they are in their faith journey. Classes will be held from 10:10am – 11:00am on Sundays, during second service and will run for ten weeks. The class will be overseen by Pastor Jon, Associate Pastor for Children, Youth and Families. Thank you for your faithful giving and continued support of the ministries of John Knox. Your giving helps make ministry programs successful. Contributions will be posted to the calendar year 2018 if they are delivered to the church office by noon on Monday, December 31, postmarked by December 31, or made online by midnight PST December 31. More information is available at the Welcome Center. Your 2019 offering envelopes are ready for pickup in the Narthex. If you don’t have offering envelopes and would like them, please contact Hollie Robins-Jennings, Director of Church Operations.

CHILI COOK-OFF
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 9 | 5:30PM IN THE FELLOWSHIP HALL
Are you looking to spend some time with your church family over good food? Do you have a secret family Chili recipe that you think is amazing? Do you crave the delicious slow cooked goodness that can only be fostered by friendly competition? Well you are in luck… and when we say luck, we mean Potluck! Wednesday, January 9 (5:30pm – 7:00pm), JK Adults will be hosting a “Chili Potluck Competition” in the Fellowship Hall. Prizes will be awarded for the best Chili. In addition to some rousing fellowship, our Pastor Nominating Committee will be making themselves available to folks for conversation during dinner. Stay tuned for more details!
