ART RECEPTION: RIVER FLOW
ALL AGES WELCOME | SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 24 | 11:45 AM-1:00 PM
Join us in the Atrium following 2nd Service on Sunday, February 24 for an Art Reception featuring JKPC’s current art exhibit River Flow from the Grünewald Guild in the Plain Valley of Washington State. We will learn more about the featured artists and their work, as well as have activities and an art project to help children and youth (and adults!) engage with the artwork. Light refreshments will be provided.

Today, during both services, you will hear a short report about the recent mission trip to Nairobi with Kenya Children’s Fund. There’s so much more to share about this amazing mission trip that we’re inviting you back on March 3 for a traditional Kenyan lunch and in-depth presentation in the Fellowship Hall after second service. As we begin the season of Lent, please join us in the Worship Center on March 6 for one of our Ash Wednesday services:
* 9:45-10:15am – A short service appropriate for families with young children. Includes the imposition of ashes.
* 7:00pm – A family-friendly, interactive Ash Wednesday service, which will include music, prayer, a short meditation, the imposition of ashes, and interactive worship stations throughout the Worship Center. Childcare provided for children ages Nursery through Kindergarten.
ALL CHURCH SKATE NIGHT…
MARCH 9 FROM 4:45-6:45 PM
Join us for a night of roller skating fun at Pattison’s West in Federal Way. Come in your favorite costume or dress up in your own unique style. Be yourself or be somebody else! Cost is $6 per person and includes skate rentals. Concessions are open on site for food and drinks. Prizes will be raffled off. Get an extra raffle ticket for bringing a friend. Becoming a member of a local church is an important part of following Jesus. Church membership is a covenant relationship that bonds us to the people of God locally and nationally. Join us in the Multipurpose Room on March 24, 31 and April 7 at 11:30am and learn about what it means to be Presbyterian, and, if you desire, become a member here at John Knox.
