Millions of Americans gather in churches for worship every week. We sing, pray, confess our sins, give money, listen to a sermon, eat bread, and drink wine together. But why do we do those things as the church? What exactly is it we're called to do when we meet as God's people? Join us as we consider the particular calling, definition and relevance of the church.
This conference is designed for everyone involved in churches today--clergy and laypeople, seminary professors and students, and church leaders. In this three day conference we will: Provide biblical and practical teaching on why and how the church still matters, Challenge you and your church / ministry to view worship as work, witness and warfare, Equip your language and your mission as the body of Christ to be informed and shaped by the practices of the church.
