Life Groups: What are Life Groups? They are complementary to our times of corporate worship and service together. They are a place to help people connect relationally to the community of faith; where they can grow toward full devotion to Christ and where they can reach out to others with His love.
In a large church like John Knox, Life Groups help us to get smaller as we grow bigger, to foster intimacy, maturity, and accountability as followers of Christ. Life Groups are the place where one can be grounded in truth while staying real with life; where what we believe is aligned with what we practice. They involve study, prayer, relationship, and service. Groups meet in homes, coffee houses, or even here at JKPC. Gatherings take place anywhere from weekly to bi-weekly to once a month and normally last an hour and a half to two hours. Most Life Groups meet from fall to spring. There are groups for women, men and couples. For more information about Life Groups contact out Life Group Coordinator Gregg Baklund.
